Today’s Theme: Doubt. (Brought to you from my dorm room!)

Father, please forgive me. I know that I doubt You and all that You can do. I go into a situation with a negative attitude, never thinking of houw great Your power is. And it is, Lord. You can move mountains and fling them into the sea, if only we do not doubt in our hears. Please, Lord. I struggle with doubt on a daily basis. Please help me to remember that You are mighty and You are all powerful. I know that if I want any change to come about in my life, I have to let you have the reigns and stop doubting. I love you, Lord. And it’s in your Son’s holy and precious name I pray. Amen.

Sometimes, when I feel like I am alone,

simplyrodney:

I am reminded that God is with me

Through the tough times, He stands by my side.

Through the good times, He rejoices with me.

Through the sad times,He comforts me.

Through the hateful times, He calms my soul.

If I have Him, I have everything. There is no need for anything more.

Matthew 14: 29-33.
(P.S. sorry the picture is awful. My Bible is really really small print.)

“25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?””
Matthew 14:25-31.

I LIED. I’M NOT ON HIATUS AT ALL. MWAHAHAHA.

Just kidding. I made these a few days ago and I got too excited, so I went ahead and decided to post them.

This verse is pretty close to my archer’s-heart. I love all the symbolism of bows and arrows in the Bible.

“Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. But God will shoot them with His arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.” - Psalm 64:2-4;7
